Mary Margaret Pipkin with her painting, “Peonies from the Garden.” In celebration of Virginia Garden Month, the Athenaeum of Old Town Alexandria will be exhibiting the large scale watercolors of Virginia artist Mary Margaret Pipkin, through May 26.
