To the Editor:
This past week, I met with Captain Shawn C. Martin and Lieutenant Bryer W. Holland of the Mount Vernon police District Station and Captain J. Dean Lay who represented Colonel Edwin C. Roessler, Jr., the chief of the Fairfax County Police Department.
It is my firm belief this meeting will lead to a continued good relationship between both the Fairfax County Police Department and the citizens of Fairfax County.
All three of these police officials expressed their desire to work with the citizens of Fairfax County and our citizen activist organization.
I was very pleased this meeting took place as it reflects what we can do to make our community a better and safer place for everyone.
